Royco 756 is a red-dyed, mineral oil based hydraulic fluid developed for the severe duty demands of aerospace and industrial service. Royco 756 contains additives that provide excellent low temperature fluidity as well as exceptional antiwear, oxidation - corrosion inhibition, and shear stability. In addition, metal deactivators and foam inhibitors are provided in this high viscosity index fluid to enhance performance in many general purpose hydraulic applications.
Royco 756 is designed for use in aircraft, missiles, autopilots, shock absorbers, cherry pickers, boom trucks, robotics, and auto wreckers requiring all - weather performance. Royco 756 is particularly recommended for use in systems where a "super clean" fluid can contribute to improved component life and reliability. Royco 756 can be used in unpressurized systems operating at temperature ranges from -54 to 90°C (-65 to 195°F) and in pressurized systems from -54 to 135°C (-65 to 275°F) at pressures up to 3000 psi. Royco 756A may be used in systems not requiring a “super clean” id and where the convenience of a resealable container can provide cost savings.
The Frekote 770-NC synthetic mold release I ordered has a 6-month shelf life from the factory. The can I received on 8/25 was set to expire on 8/31 according to the date printed on the bottom of the can. I called and sent a photo of the can bottom and they said it should have been taken off the shelf a month earlier, so they will send me a good can when new stock arrives without sending the out of date can back.
I appreciate the fast delivery and them taking care of the issue, but it means you could be buying product that has only one month of shelf life remaining. Call before you buy and have them confirm the expiration date of their stock and if it is less than works for you, work out delivery from fresh stock or negotiate a discount.
