PR-1764 Class B Electrically Conductive Sealant – PPG Aerospace/PRC DeSoto®
Boeing uses PR-1764 Class B (also referred to as PR1764B2) from PPG Aerospace/PRC DeSoto® as an electrically conductive, corrosion-inhibitive sealant.
This two-part, nickel-filled, manganese dioxide-cured Permapol P-3 polythioether compound offers:
Service Temperature Range: –67°F (–55°C) to 250°F (121°C), with short-term tolerance up to 360°F (182°C)
Electrical Performance: Maintains electrical continuity in aircraft applications
EMI/RMI Shielding: Provides reliable long-term protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference
Corrosion Resistance: Inhibits corrosion on aluminum alloys and between dissimilar metals
Fuel Resistance: Resists extended exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline
In its uncured state, PR-1764 Class B is a low-sag, thixotropic paste designed for application with an extrusion gun or spatula. Optimal adhesion to typical aircraft substrates is achieved when used with PR-148 Adhesion Promoter.

Excellent product - be sure to shake-mix prior to use, the solids fall out of solution pretty quickly. So far we haven't had to use any reducer. This product is exactly what a well known structures rebuilder located in Indiana uses.
Great price. Prefer a hard copy...but printing from FAA website is not practical or what I was looking for. This periodical is perfect to replace my 15+ year old version. Love that Pilot Head Quarters had it on sale.
