Uniquely designed, this dual purpose headset can be used with both high and low impedance. This Headset is fitted with a High/Low impedance guarded toggle switch which allows the user to select the mode their headset will be used in: military (low impedance) or general aviation (high impedance). A washable pillow top head pad along with silicone gel ear seals, gives you the comfort you’ve been looking for. This unit reduces fatigue and improves communication on long military missions. This headset comes with cloth ear seal covers and a soft padded headset case.
The headset is compatible with C-130, C130J, C-141, KC-135, C-5B aircraft and the AIC-18 interphone used on many military aircraft.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
