As with all ATB EASA modules, Physics strictly matches the requirements of Part 66 including its content, sequence, and the required learning levels (L1, 2, or 3) needed for an approved B1 mechanic maintenance technician program, and is so approved by many national authorities as a part of the training programs of Part 147 schools within their jurisdiction.
As prescribed in Part 66 Appendix 1, the topics are divided in 8 sections:
Matter (L1)
Mechanics (L2)
Kinetics (L2)
Dynamics (L2)
Fluid Dynamics (L2)
Thermodynamics (L2)
Optics (L2)
Wave Motion and Sound (L2)
Please note that the learning levels for B1 mechanical may vary between this edition and the B2 avionics edition. A complete table of contents can be found in the Look Inside link above. Each topic is presented with clear, concise text and detailed, high-quality illustrations, providing a step-by-step explanation. The material is designed to promote conceptual understanding and demonstrate the practical application of skills in the daily responsibilities of an aircraft technician in the aviation maintenance industry. The book covers all required topics for FAA A&P students, and goes into further depth to meet the proficiency standards for EASA licenses.
Instructor Services: For schools considering the adoption of ATB modules as your primary student notes, we offer various additional services including projectable image banks, examination question databases, and generous additional support for instructors and your requirements for competent authorities.
Best priced around great and speedy service!
Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
