J-Air Fuel Guage specially designed for a Cessna 182 Skylane with standard 39 gallon tanks.
Made of heavy, clear plastic and easy to use. Simply insert "Fuel Hawk" until it touches the bottom of the tank. Then place your finger firmly over the top of the opening to lock fuel in the tube. Remove and instantly see a readout in U.S. gallons of usable fuel on a calibrated scale card. (For use in both main and auxiliary tanks.)
This fuel guage is ideal for when the pilot must take a less-than-full fuel load due to weight considerations or measuring how much is really in the tank.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
