Dapco™ 2200 is an adhesive, solvent-free, thixotropic silicone paste. Dapco™ 2200 is most commonly used as a coating, sealant, or filleting material in the construction, repair and maintenance of all types of aircraft. The product can be applied using a variety of methods and is especially useful where fire resistance, exposure to phosphate ester fluids, and/or exposure to extreme temperatures -65° F (-54° C) to 400° F (204° C) are major considerations. The product can also be used as an insulative and/or ablative heat shield.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
