Brackett BA-4108 Replacement Aircraft Air Filter Element

The Brackett BA-4108 Aircraft Air Filter Element is the replacement polyurethane filter element used in Brackett BA-4106 and BA-4210 aircraft air filter assemblies. Designed for efficient dust collection while maintaining non-restrictive airflow, the BA-4108 is treated with Brackett's wetted agent and receives a fire-retardant treatment for use in approved aircraft installations.

Service & Replacement

Under normal operating conditions, Brackett specifies replacement of the BA-4108 filter element after 100 hours of use or 12 months. In severely dusty conditions, inspect the element daily and replace it when approximately 50% of the element is covered with foreign material. The BA-4108 is a disposable filter element and should not be washed and reused.

Eligible Aircraft Applications

The BA-4108 is used as the replacement element in approved Brackett BA-4106 and BA-4210 aircraft air filter assemblies. Applications include select Cessna, Piper, Champion, Luscombe, Taylorcraft, Gulfstream American/Grumman and other general aviation aircraft.
