ASA - Overcasters® View-Limiting Device

The ASA - Overcasters® View-Limiting Device offers a lightweight, straightforward, yet highly efficient solution for mimicking instrument (IFR) conditions in the aircraft cockpit.

Overcasters® are highly efficient view-limiting training devices for pilots. Their frosted visor can easily clip onto prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses, eliminating the need for uncomfortable straps, helmets, or hoods. When flipped down, Overcasters create a near-perfect simulation of instrument conditions and can easily be flipped up to simulate the transition from instruments to visual flight.

When not in use, ASA - Overcasters® can be conveniently attached to your glasses or clipped onto a kneeboard, notebook, or flight bag for storage. Renowned for flexibility and durability, Overcasters are highly regarded and approved by FAA examiners for practical tests and check rides.
