AeroShell - # 6 General Purpose Airframe Grease, MIL-PRF-24139
AeroShell Grease 6 is a general purpose grease composed of a mineral oil thickened with Microgel-, possessing good all-round properties within a limited range. It is inhibited against oxidation and corrosion and has good water resistance and low noise capability. The useful operating temperature range is G40-C to +121-C.
APPLICATIONS: AeroShell Grease 6 is a general purpose airframe grease for use in anti-friction bearings, gearboxes and plain bearings within the temperature range of G40-C to +121-C.
I wanted to be able use my wireless headset on my backup portable radio. This is exactly what I needed as an interface for my radio/headset. I hope I never need to use it, but it is worth a peace of mind knowing I am covered!
Haven't opened it yet, still waiting for the current leak to finish off the last left in the wheelchair lift. Unless the jug is filled with water, we happy-we good.
