3M™ polyurethane protective tape 8663HS is a matte transparent or matte transparent thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer tape designed to provide premium leading edge erosion protection. With scratch, tear, erosion and puncture-resistance that comes from the polyurethane backing, this tape also includes a high shear strength acrylic adhesive. It can withstand a wide variety of difficult conditions, including rain and sand erosion. The tape can be applied efficiently in aircraft and rotorcraft production and maintenance. This tape is available in two liner configurations single poly liner on the adhesive side or single skip slit poly liner on the adhesive side. The skip slit liner is cut into narrow pieces to enable easy installation of tape.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
