Sky-Tec NL and NL/ec Inline Starters

Standard NL starters are available for selected 12-volt and 24-volt systems, while NL/ec extended-cranking models are offered for certain 24-volt applications. Gear Reduction and Kickback Protection

Selecting the Correct Sky-Tec Starter

Aircraft starters that appear similar may differ in voltage, rotation, mounting arrangement, pinion gear, ring-gear compatibility, solenoid configuration, engine eligibility, and installation clearance. A 12-volt starter cannot be selected solely as a substitute for a 24-volt model, and matching the ring-gear tooth count alone does not establish complete compatibility.
