SCAT ducting is recommended for use in conducting extremely cold or hot air where temperatures range from –65°F to +550°F. It is a lightweight and versatile ducting made of a single ply red silicon impregnation with a spiral copper coated steel wire inside and wrapped with fiberglass cord on the outside. This ducting minimizes waste since short sections, which are normally unusable, can be joined together to form a continuous length. It is not recommended for negative pressure applications. Its suitable for permanent or temporary installations to meet many different applications.
Best priced around great and speedy service!
Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
