Surface Preparation
The maximum performance of TECTYL 435D can be achieved only when the metal surfaces to be protected are clean, dry and free of rust, oil and mill scale. Daubert Chemical Company recommends that the metal substrate temperature be 50-95°F(10-35°C) at the time of product application.
Application
TECTYL 435D is formulated to be used as supplied. Ensure uniform consistency before use. Continued stirring is generally not required. If the product thickens due to cold storage or loss of solvent during use, contact Daubert Chemical Company. DO NOT THIN TECTYL 435D. Incorrect thinning will affect film build, dry time, and product performance. Daubert Chemical Company recommends that the ambient and product temperature be 50-95°F(10-35°C) at the time of application. TECTYL 435D can be sprayed or dip applied.
Removal
TECTYL 435D can be removed with TECTYL HPS solvent-borne thinner, vapor degreasing, hot alkaline wash, or low-pressure steam. TECTYL 435D can be removed from fabrics by routine dry cleaning procedures. Avoid using chlorinated or highly aromatic solvents when removing from painted surfaces, as these solvents may adversely affect paint.
Best priced around great and speedy service!
Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
