Sherlock Air and Gas Leak Detector, Type II - 4 oz bottle | TPII40Z
Sherlock Leak Detector is used for detecting leaks in pipe joints, tube connections, tanks or any system under gas or air pressure. It is very easy to use, simply wipe surface to be tested with a brush or dauber, squirt on with a squeeze bottle or spray with a trigger sprayer. Small leaks form white foam in 5 to 60 seconds. Large leaks form large bubbles almost instantly. Both Type 1 and 2 are neutral solutions and can be used with pure oxygen, since they do not contain any oil, grease or other ingredients that might combine with oxygen to burn or cause an explosion. Meets MIL-PRF-25567E. Type II is used from -65 degrees to +35 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pilots HQ had the best price on the pump needed to replace the one on my plane that was failing. It actually shipped ahead of schedule, arrived quickly to my IA who was ale to install it and get me back in the air in a timely manner. Great service and price.
I stopped in looking for some very specific AN bolts. The ladies up front went way out of their way to help me find the bolts I needed. Got my annual done that weekend thanks to Pilot HQ.
