The GoPro Slim mounts are slimmed down to a basic GoPro adapter and base. Adjust your GoPro by rotating the aluminum adapter 360 degrees on a 1/4-20 threaded stud. Lock in place with the jamb nut using a 7/16" wrench. This Robinson Rib Clamp Base fits the window center rib channel on any Robinson R22, R44, or R66 Helicopter. The clamp also fits 3/4" tubing such as in Cub or Husky cockpits. This clamp can be easily tightened by hand making it a FAA temporary mounting device. The thumb screw also has a hex drive head allowing you to tighten with the included hex wrench too. I built this kit as a teenager most of 55 years ago. The kit is essentially the same, but now they’re laser cut. In the past, the panels were die-cut, sometimes you get one done with a dull cutter. That took a lot of extra time, carefully re-scoring everything with a narrow Exacto blade so the pieces wouldn’t split. This kit is so crisp, it’s a joy to assemble. It’s fun seeing old reflexes come to life while assembling this baby. I only have the FW-190 from those years, but also built this one (the Hellcat), the Spitfire, Me-109, and the P-40. Good times!
