The USAF WWII roundel is a variation of the US Army Air Corps roundel and has been used on US Military aircraft since 1941. Both roundels mimic styles used by French and British allies at the time. After the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour in 1941, the red circle in the centre of the star was removed so that it would not be confused with the Japanese flag. This resulted in the white star within the US Stripes logo, which is seen on all US military aircraft today.
Best priced around great and speedy service!
Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
