The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) was born on the 1st April 1924. Early tasks focused on civil air operations including forestry patrols, surveying and anti-smuggling. When the call to arms came in September 1939, Canada’s youth dutifully joined the cause. By 1944, the RCAF reached its peak strength of 215,000 men and women – making it the fourth largest air force in the world. Air force personnel served proudly under the RCAF Roundel(the original design of which is featured on this product)in both peace and war times. Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
