How To Remove & Rotate Your Suspension The DAX Cap-style Hard Hat can be worn reversely by removing and rotating the suspension. Below are instructions for removing the suspension and reattaching it in the direction you prefer.
To Remove:
Firmly grasp the black strap between your thumb and closed pointer finger
Using your thumb as leverage on the hard hat’s bottom edge, apply pressure upwards while keeping the black strap as close to the hard hat’s top shell as possible.
When enough pressure is applied, the metal clip will make a ‘pop,’ indicating that it is clear of the rivet.
Remove the entire clip and continue until all six clip points are disconnected.
To Re-attach:
Slip the metal clip’s two prongs (facing towards the top of the hard hat) over the rivet.
Grip the black strap between thumb and forefinger and apply pressure towards the hard hat’s top.
The metal clip will make a ‘pop’ indicating it’s locked into position.
Install the remaining clips in the same fashion in a clockwise motion.
Best priced around great and speedy service!
Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
