The 16oz. Gats Jar fuel testers are used to collect, pre flight inspection, fuel samples. It then separates any co-mingled fuel and water, by allowing only the fuel to be poured back into the tank through our special built-in filter which traps the water behind. This allows the fuel samples to be returned to the aircraft instead of being thrown on the ground. After the water is trapped in the container, and the fuel is back in the tank, the captured water can then be thrown on the ground without polluting the soil, and the ground water with leaded fuel.Studies indicate that over 3 million gallons of AVGAS gets poured on the ground in this country every year just by sampling fuel during pre flight inspections. This product is the only "environmentally responsible" fuel tester on the market. It also filters out particulate fuel contamination, and makes octane recognition simple and certain.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
