DOWSIL™ 3140 RTV Coating is a one-part, translucent silicone coating and adhesive designed to protect sensitive electronic components and circuit boards. This coating is flowable, self-leveling, and ideal for applications requiring vibration dampening and low stress.
With excellent flame resistance, high elongation, and UL certifications, DOWSIL™ 3140 RTV Coating is an optimal choice for thin-section encapsulation, pin sealing, and coverage of solder joints. It cures at room temperature, forming a durable, flexible seal that withstands mechanical shock and thermal cycling. The UV indicator enhances inspection efficiency during production and maintenance.
