The David Clark H3392 (Part No. 18491G-03) is purpose-built for professionals working in noisy, high-activity aviation environments. Its single-ear design provides clear communication through a dynamic, amplified noise-canceling microphone while keeping one ear open for ambient awareness—essential for safety on the ramp or during de-icing operations. The rugged headset features corrosion-proof hardware, weather-resistant materials, and a chrome-plated headband and stirrup assembly to withstand harsh conditions.
A flexible wire boom with 280° of rotation allows for left or right-side microphone placement, adapting to operator preference. Comfort is not overlooked—this model includes a soft foam-filled ear seal and cushioned head and temple pads, supporting prolonged use without discomfort. The H3392 terminates in a PJ-051 (1/4" stereo) plug and is compatible with most standard aviation ground intercom systems.
Used 7 on heavily oxidized Airstream. Sanded off oxidation. Presto changeo, an almost mirror-like finish. Will stick with Nuvite. Important to follow instructional video.
This is an amazing aid to my fisning. Something serious inland fishermen should have. My only regret is that I didn't have this over the last 20 years.
