The MA-1 jacket, introduced in the 1950s, quickly became the preferred flight jacket of U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots and ground crew. In 1960, an orange lining was added so that downed pilots could use the bright color to signal for help. This updated version has an outer nylon shell with thick polyester fill for added warmth; international orange lining; and knit cuffs, collar, and waistband. It features two side snap-cover pockets on the brown side, one snapped pocket on the orange side, and a zipped pocket on the sleeve. It has a heavy-duty brass zipper and topstitched seams for durability. The Boeing logo is embroidered tone-on-tone on the left chest. Imported.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
