I'm organizing a 'game night' for all ages at church. Back in the 70's I remember flying balsa planes over the creek in Beaver Park, Cedar Rapids Iowa as a family. I thought how fun it would be to have our church kids compete with gliders. I read lots of reviews. First off, many foam and balsa planes simply don't fly. Secondly, even if you pick a brand that does fly, many companies don't pack them protectively and they arrive broken. I read that Pilots HQ ships them very carefully, so I took a chance that once they arrived all 7 would be useable. They came in a cardboard box for protection and inside they were wrapped in bubble wrap. A bear would have had to sit on the box to damage the planes! I know balsa is fragile, but I was VERY careful in punching out the pieces and assembling them. I remembered that it doesn't take much 'push' to get the gliders going. It's -10 outdoors, so I just set it sail in the living room. It flew like a champ until it crashed into my La-Z-Boy, but it survived that gentle crash without breaking. I can't wait for our game night at church! Thank you for providing a quality product at a fair price!
