The company’s primary goal soon became the training of post-war military pilots returning from active duty to work in the early civilian airlines. In 1960, the company broadened its production and development efforts with additional pilot supplies and books added to the ground school training line.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn 1969, the company became Northwest School of Aviation under a new owner, Roy Beech. The company’s goal was the franchise of the popular Merrell Ground School under the name “Aviation Seminars of America,” or ASA.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn November, 1976, Joe Cucchiari purchased the company. “Aviation Supplies and Academics” replaced Aviation Seminars of America as the name to go with the ASA acronym, and the company again broadened its product line to add cassette courses and new books and training materials. The company was incorporated in 1977. In 1981, Joe Finelli joined the organization, bringing 20 years of experience in printing and publishing with him. This material can be used to supplement an instructor’s ground school lecture or used as part of the student assignments to be completed prior to the next lecture. I work on old vintage motorcycles, most of which have a fair amount of oil and grease on the engine and transmission parts. These gloves are so much better than the run of the mill cheapo's that can be bought about the same price. Yes, these will tear like any nitrile glove, but these are very, very durable and do a very nice job of standing up to gas, oils, and brake cleaner. I've yet to find any better than these for the price. No complaints whatsoever.
I took the chance of ordering expired Loctite 330. It was jelled up pretty good and generally unusable. It was my fault for trying it and never called the company to complain as I took the chance and that is on me. Order the good stuff.
Had used aviation Camguard for years. Added as well to each quart of oil added to my Lyc 540 SIA5 aerostar engines. Went past TBO with excellent compressions. Oil analysis always normal.
Also add to automobiles but too early to see a benefit.
