The MS27641-3 / KP3A roller bearing is engineered for precision and durability in demanding airframe control applications. Manufactured to meet MS/AS27641 dimensional standards, this bearing features a 0.1900″ bore and 0.6250″ outer diameter, with optimized inner (0.297″) and outer (0.234″) ring widths for perfect fitment in aircraft linkages. Dual PTFE contact seals provide excellent protection against contamination while retaining MIL-G-81322 grease, ensuring smooth performance over extended intervals. Rings and balls are crafted from E52100 chrome steel and heat-treated to Rockwell C60–C66 for exceptional wear resistance. The cadmium-plated exterior enhances corrosion resistance, while a stainless steel retainer ensures stability under load. Fully traceable and supplied new, this bearing offers 1,560 lbf radial and 700 lbf thrust capacity, with reliable operation up to 250 °F.
This is nearly identical to my first pilot logbook, but with a new smooth matte black cover. This logbook checks all the boxes from student pilot through Commercial. It might just be the only logbook you’ll ever need. Fly safe!
