This high quality aircraft maintenance wash, removes exhaust deposits, fuel stains, oil and grease from the underside of fuselage, engine cowlings, wheel wells. The Frekote 770-NC synthetic mold release I ordered has a 6-month shelf life from the factory. The can I received on 8/25 was set to expire on 8/31 according to the date printed on the bottom of the can. I called and sent a photo of the can bottom and they said it should have been taken off the shelf a month earlier, so they will send me a good can when new stock arrives without sending the out of date can back.
I appreciate the fast delivery and them taking care of the issue, but it means you could be buying product that has only one month of shelf life remaining. Call before you buy and have them confirm the expiration date of their stock and if it is less than works for you, work out delivery from fresh stock or negotiate a discount.
