3M formulated Adhesion Promoter AC-160 as a water-borne adhesion promoter for polysulfide sealant used on solvent sensitive surfaces and coatings. It contains water blended with a surface activator agent, which helps reduce time to adhesion and helps sealant adhere to difficult-to-bond surfaces.
3M™ Adhesion Promoter AC-160 may be applied to clean surfaces with gauze or brush prior to application of polysulfide sealants. It is available in various package sizes to fulfil a variety of production needs. AC-160 allows for faster initial adhesion build rate of polysulfide sealant to help reduce your process time. Our one component formula needs no mixing to provide easy application.

Also is the better of the 2 options since it is rated at 5,000 psi, not that I go to that high of pressure but I like the safety and security knowing that my chances of it blowing up in my face are a whole lot better and I can also purchase replacement seals for them at the same shop!!!
I bought the DC PTT because I know and trust the DC quality/durability to hold up to using every day. And so far it’s the best PTT I’ve used. I have a couple other no-name PTTs and the cable sheathing is crumbling and falling off. The DC PTT has worked even in sub zero cabin temp conditions when I didn’t have a functioning heater. I bought two to have a spare but the first one has been working great for 300hrs so far.
