Why Pilots HQ No Longer Carries Lightspeed Headsets

Pilots HQ was previously an authorized Lightspeed dealer. Over time, several factors led us to step back from offering Lightspeed headsets:

  • Tight margins made it difficult to sustainably support the product line

  • High fraud rates, particularly through online marketplaces

  • Complex returns, including challenges with headset registration transfers

  • Inventory requirements, including minimum purchase commitments that resulted in excess stock

As a result, we shifted our focus to other aviation headset brands to better serve our customers.
