If you are currently using the Lightspeed Sierra headset, replacement parts are still available directly through Lightspeed.
Pilots HQ does not currently stock Lightspeed replacement parts. We recommend contacting Lightspeed Aviation directly for parts and support. While doing so, you can also let them know you’d like to see Pilots HQ offered as an authorized dealer again.
Pilots HQ was previously an authorized Lightspeed dealer. Over time, several factors led us to step back from offering Lightspeed headsets:
Tight margins made it difficult to sustainably support the product line
High fraud rates, particularly through online marketplaces
Complex returns, including challenges with headset registration transfers
Inventory requirements, including minimum purchase commitments that resulted in excess stock
As a result, we shifted our focus to other aviation headset brands to better serve our customers.
If you’d like to see Pilots HQ offer Lightspeed headsets again, you can contact Lightspeed directly and share your feedback.
The Lightspeed Sierra ANR headset remains a solid mid-range option with modern features like Bluetooth and reliable ANR performance.
However, aviation headset technology continues to evolve, and some pilots may prefer newer models with enhanced comfort, materials, or additional features.
