AVIONICS/ MIL CABLE MOUNTED PLUG – 7013 CABLE MOUNTED PLUGS
Rebling is the only manufacturer in the world certified to produce battery connectors for flying vehicles (military, commercial, passenger, cargo, fixed wing, rotary wing, RPAs/Drones). Rebling’s technology, quality, and reliability can be summed up in one statement: “35 billion air miles per year without a failure.”
All the models of our two pole, avionics-grade, quick disconnect, cable-mounted plugs are designed to mate with our avionics-grade, bulkhead-mounted receptacles. The members of our avionics family of connectors conform to and are QPL’d to Mil Specs MS25182, MS3509, Mil-PRF-18148, Mil-E-18148, Mil-E-81099 and are available under Rebling’s Cage Code 30525. Each connector undergoes an electrical resistance test before shipment, 100% of the attaching hardware is functionally tested, the connector’s components are fully assembled, and a unique serial number is attached to the connector as well as the individual container in which it is shipped, and a list of all serial numbers for each shipment is included with the shipping documents.
The quick disconnect feature enables an operator, even with double-gloved hands, to rotate the handle clockwise to engage the connector and lock it in place, then to turn the handle counter-clockwise to disengage the electrical contacts and unlock the connector.
Polarity markings on the connector are visible, and the mechanical polarizing design prevents it from being mismatched. All fastening and mechanical hardware components are made from stainless steel. The 7013 is similar to our 7016 and 7017 plug connectors, but the 7013 does not have a protective backshell.
The Frekote 770-NC synthetic mold release I ordered has a 6-month shelf life from the factory. The can I received on 8/25 was set to expire on 8/31 according to the date printed on the bottom of the can. I called and sent a photo of the can bottom and they said it should have been taken off the shelf a month earlier, so they will send me a good can when new stock arrives without sending the out of date can back.
I appreciate the fast delivery and them taking care of the issue, but it means you could be buying product that has only one month of shelf life remaining. Call before you buy and have them confirm the expiration date of their stock and if it is less than works for you, work out delivery from fresh stock or negotiate a discount.
