PRC DeSoto - Gray BMS 5-95T Type 1, Class F-1 Spec Corrosion Inhibitive Coating | PR1432GPT
PR-1432-GP is a corrosion inhibitive, elastomeric coating. It has service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals.
PR-1432-GP is a two-part, dichromate cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for application by spray or brush. This material is not recommended for use without a top coating.
Excellent product - be sure to shake-mix prior to use, the solids fall out of solution pretty quickly. So far we haven't had to use any reducer. This product is exactly what a well known structures rebuilder located in Indiana uses.
Great price. Prefer a hard copy...but printing from FAA website is not practical or what I was looking for. This periodical is perfect to replace my 15+ year old version. Love that Pilot Head Quarters had it on sale.
