Max Trescott's latest book takes the reader through the details of how GPS and WAAS, the Wide Area Augmentation System, operate. Then he gives detailed instructions for operating the most popular panel mounted GPS. He explores common misperceptions such as the myth of "activating the approach" and why you never need to do it. He also explains the new WAAS minimums: LPV, LNAV/VNAV, LNAV, LNAV+V, and LP and why checking RAIM no longer matters with a WAAS-capable GPS receiver.
Used 7 on heavily oxidized Airstream. Sanded off oxidation. Presto changeo, an almost mirror-like finish. Will stick with Nuvite. Important to follow instructional video.
This is an amazing aid to my fisning. Something serious inland fishermen should have. My only regret is that I didn't have this over the last 20 years.
I bought the same hat 2 years ago to wear when I travel in Europe. People don't ask silly questions about the US. The hat fits well and looks great! Clearly marks me as Canadian.
